Outsourcing is becoming one of the most popular ways of doing business. From IT, Digital marketing, HR, sales, content writing, and many others, outsourcing has allowed the companies to have knowledgeable employees that will work remotely, and at the same time, make them more profitable.

So, let’s say you are a small or large business looking for an outsourcing partner. At this point, you know that you need educated people with good English knowledge and specific skills. The question is:

Where and how to find the best outsourcing partner for yourself, and what country would be an excellent place to outsource?

Quality, Reliability, Proven and Competent

When you are just at the beginning of your research, corporations or freelancers with a proven track record are the ones that will pop out. You are searching for someone with the same growth goals you are working on — a reliable partner with good references and reputation, and financial compatibility.

Once you shortlist your investigation, you will need to evaluate every potential vendor based on the following factors:

  • Scope of work and technical expertise
  • Skillsets and employee development
  • Innovation and access to the latest technology
  • Previous experience
  • Values and passion for your project
  • But what about the country?

Serbia — a small country in a great time zone, highly focused on education.

If you were already searching what the best countries to outsource are, I am sure that on the top of your list were India, China, Taiwan, Ukraine, the Philippines, and Vietnam. Because of their significant population, less purchasing power, and lower salaries, these markets took a high place on the list of top countries to outsource.

As a Serbian, working in the outsourcing niche for some time now, I learned what our customers appreciate the most:

  • They are always a top priority to us
  • Proficiency in English
  • Western midset
  • Internet Quality

We still need to prove as the outsourcing market

The popularity of Serbians as business partners has an increasing tendency; however, there are still many countries that are not aware that they can find an outsourcing partner in the Balkans. With people keen to work and prove themselves, we love to show our clients that we treat their business as our own and that we are team-oriented to growth.

English as a mandatory second language

According to the EF English Proficiency Index, English proficiency is on a high level. Serbia ranks as the 17th of 100 countries/regions. We are learning English from an early age. We are also listening and acquiring it through cultural programs and entertainment, which leads us to almost zero accent and fantastic communication skills.

Perspective geographic position and western mindset

Our geographic position had a significant influence on how we do the business and our mindset. Being between East and West, we took the best from both worlds. Having many foreign companies to work in and having the opportunity to work for worldwide and multinational corporations, Serbian people accepted the Western way of thinking when it comes to business.

Internet quality as a leading factor

Outsourcing demands the best possible internet connection as the customers are overseas or in another country. Luckily, Serbia ranks 12th in the internet speed in the world based on data of the website Serbianmonitor. That gives us an advantage compared to popular outsourcing countries like Vietnam, the Philippines, Ukraine, and India.

Outsource to Serbia, an opportunity worth considering

Now, when you had an opportunity to meet my lovely country just a little bit, would you consider looking for an outsourcing partner here in the heart of the Balkans. If so, I recommend you to check this out.
